In-House Hockey (Puck) Rules and Regulations:
All games played on Sundays between 5-9 pm. Cost $75.00 (11 Weeks)
Week 1 organizations week, drills, team selection, sign up and sign waiver form.
All players can skate for free on Sundays from 2-5 for free during season.
All new players must bring a copy of birth certificate for our files.
2 Fifteen Minute Periods with 5 minute sudden death overtime and shootout.
1 timeout per period – 2 Timeouts per period with no subs.
4 on 4 with 2 goalies – Running clock.
Clock stops for penalties, goals, timeouts, puck out of play, and if the game is within 2 goals in the final period with 2 minutes remaining.
All players must have the following equipment:
Shin pads, gloves, elbow pads, helmet with full face shield, protective cup,
Stick, and skates. No black tape on Sticks.
All Penalties1Minute minors. No checking or Fighting!
Any penalty intended to hurt another player will result in a penalty and game misconduct.
3 Penalties in a game will result in a game misconduct.
2nd offense in a season with 3 penalties will result in game misconduct and 1 game suspension. 3rd offense no longer able to play hockey at Skateaway.
All players will be supplied with a jersey, which shall be returned the last week of the season.
All players must shake hands after each game, no exceptions or will result in a game suspension.
All players shall check in with your coach if you change your jersey #.
Home Bench – Bench closet to main office/scorekeeper.
Standings: Win – 2 Points, Lost 0 Points, 1 point for overtime loss.
Top two teams will play a championship game (Week #11)
Individual Awards for Most Valuable Player (MVP), Most Valuable Goalie (MVG)
Team Trophies awarded for each player of the championship team.
We will not tolerate inappropriate behavior at any point you enter the building. If you show any form of inappropriate behavior you will be suspended.
- There will be no unsportsmanlike play.
- No Swearing, spitting, fighting, or destruction to any part of the facility.
- Do not slam your sticks on the skating surface.
