Adult Hockey League (Ball and Puck) Rules and Regulations

Next Season Begins Sunday, August 22, 2010,  Rosters and Money due ($350) Friday, August 13, 2010

Cost Per Team: $350 in CASH for a 15 game season and 2 rounds of playoffs

Ref fees of $15 per team per game paid directly to score keeper prior to every game.

Players can only be on 1 Team! Goalies can play on multiple teams.

No fighting or punches throw will be tolerated or destruction to the facility. Any person who does not obey this request will not be allowed in Skateaway again for any events. 

Game Time: Played on  Tuesday and Thursday Nights Starting at 6:30 pm, Sunday nights..

All players names listed on the registration form, agree that Skateaway can not be held responsible for any injury, fights, etc.

We will not tolerate inappropriate behavior at any point you enter the building. If you show any form of inappropriate behavior you will no longer be permitted in the building.

-          There will be no unsportsmanlike play.

-          No Swearing, spitting, fighting, or destruction to any part of the facility.

-          Any fighting or attempt to fight/punch will result in lifetime ban from Skateaway.

All team captains shall check in with the scorekeeper prior to each game for who is not in attendance, and of any jersey number changes.

Home Bench – Bench closet to main office/scorekeeper.

3 Ten Minute Periods with 5 minute sudden death overtime. 1 timeout Per Game

4 on 4 with 2 goalies – Clock stops on all whistles.

Substitutions - ($10.00 per Game) if not on Roster by 2^nd Game.

All Players Must play 5/15 regular games to Qualify for Playoff games.

Mercy Rule - 8 goals - Running Clock

1 Timeout per game.

Building will be open 15 minutes prior to game times.

No black tape on Sticks.

Must wear shin pads, gloves, elbow pads, helmet.

All Penalty's 2 Minute Minors and Game Misconducts, No checking or fighting.

3 Penalties in one game will result in a game misconduct and 1 game suspension.

Each Team is allowed to reschedule 1 Game in Regular Season.

Standings: Win – 2 Points, Lost 0 Points, 1 point for overtime loss, 1 point for Tie

Playoffs 1^st Round:

            Seeds 1 & 2 Byes         (Seed 3 vs. 6) (Seed 4 vs. 5) - (Single Game Playoff)

Playoffs Second Round and Championship Round:

            Best of 3 Series

Individual Awards for Most Valuable Player (MVP), Most Valuable Goalie (MVG)

Team Trophy awarded to the championship team.

Depending on how many teams divisions might be created.

Practice Times Available - $75.00 per hour

Captain of winning team to receive a discount of $100 for the next season.
